When viewing your official certificate, the date above the "close window" message at the bottom of the page should say today's date.
If you are not seeing your updated certificate, you may be experiencing a browser issue. To correct the browser issue please reference the steps below for Chrome and Firefox.
If you are using Chrome you will need to:
- Close all tabs and windows of Chrome until only one window with one tab is open
- Open Clear browsing data window
- Click the customize button in the upper right corner of the browser
- More tools > Clear browsing data… (or by using CRTL+Shift+Del on the keyboard)
- In the Clear browsing data popup
- Select the Basic tab
- Choose All time for the Time range drop down
- Check all checkboxes
- Click Clear data button
- At completion, Chrome leaves you on the Settings page
- Close browser completely
- Reopen browser to reattempt system functions
If you are using Firefox you will need to:
- Close all tabs and windows of Firefox until only one window with one tab is open
- In the menu bar, select Tools > Options
- In the left-hand menu, select Privacy
- In the History section, click the clear your recent history link
- In the Clear All History popup
- Make sure Time range to clear is set to Everything
- Check all check boxes in the lower window
- Click Clear Now button
- Firefox does not give a completion confirmation
- Close browser completely
- Reopen browser to reattempt system functions
